I am a single mom taking the 7 day disney world and cruise with my 2 children. Is there anyway to know if there are other single parents traveling in order to join forces?

    Hi Teresita,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Thanks to the wonderful world of the internet it has become very easy to find guests that are traveling to Walt Disney World and on a Disney Cruise at the same time you are.  Your best bet would be to browse a few of the Disney fans sites such as the DIS Boards or Passporter Boards (do a quick internet search and you'll find them).  Here you will be able to communicate with others that may be traveling with you.

Now to play my "Mom" role, I suggest just lurking on the boards for awhile before diving in - simply to see what type of information is shared and where you might feel most comfortable.  Often times there are specific messages set up for each voyage, so you can get to know your fellow passengers.  This will give you a lot of great information and insight - and it is very easy to get comfortable with your fellow cruisers...just keep in mind that it is totally public and anyone can read it.  Although you may see it quite often, I never recommend sharing your cabin number on a public message board.

    I hope this helps!
