    so I am a single mom on a single moms budget and I really want to run the Princess 1/2 marathon race and have my daughter see me achieve my goal from the side lines. i am just curious what deals there are for this special weekend for those of us on a buget

    Hi Beryl!  Congratulations to you on committing to running the Princess!  I know you will love it and I think it will be a wonderful example to set for your daughter. 

    There are packages available at the Value Resorts for Princess Half weekend.  You can find package information and pricing on the Princess Half travel page.  You can also call 407-WDW-IRUN to book these packages. 

    When you register for the race, you will also receive a password to an online theme park ticket store.  These tickets will be sold at a pretty good discount.  However, you don't have to have any tickets for you or your daughter to run the race or to be a spectator.  She can even go into the Magic Kingdom early race morning to see you running up Main Street U.S.A.  (no ticket required)  She would get there using the monorails from Epcot's parking lot (where the race begins) and then take the monorails back to Epcot for the finish line.

    Staying at one of the Value host resorts will give you and your daughter access to the free bus transportation to all of the race weekend activities.  This is a huge advantage to staying on Disney property.
