Hello Tiffany, and welcome to planDisney!
I am so glad that you stopped by with your important planning question. As a fellow single mom, I applaud your efforts to make sure your children can have the Disney experience growing up. I look back fondly on my trips with my daughter when she was growing up as a way to introduce her to our family tradition of growing up going to Walt Disney World.
If you are looking for a way to save money on purchasing your
Theme Park Tickets, keep your ears open for special room and ticket packages. Depending on the offer, you will find savings if you are planning to stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. Rates and specials have not been announced yet. Bookings for 2023 should be opening soon, so be on the lookout for those deals.
If you are planning to stay off-site and are just looking for tickets, I have some good news for you. Florida Residents can purchase tickets for friends or family as long as the Guest is under the age of 18 at the time of their visit. To activate the tickets, your mom would need to be present and show her government-issued Florida ID card.
Anyone over the age of 18 must verify residency, with a photo ID or along with proof of mortgage or vehicle registration. Unfortunately, you would need to purchase the standard theme park ticket, but on the bright side, you will save on tickets for your kids.
I hope this will help with budgeting for your upcoming trip. If you have any more questions please come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
