Hello! I am a single mom who would really like to take my 10 yo daughter on a trip to Disney World this summer (June 21-24). This will be our 1st time visiting DW. Any suggestions on where to start with booking a trip?

Hi Chavon! Thanks for the great question. You and your daughter are going to make the most magical memories! You've already got your dates, so that's the first step! The next thing is to decide on your resort. Walt Disney World has a huge selection of resorts to choose from, ranging from value to moderate and deluxe. All offer the same Disney perks, including Magical Express service to and from the Orlando airport, Extra Magic Hours, where theme parks are open longer for Disney resort guests only, complimentary transportation throughout Disney property and more. Value resorts are a great way to save money, and deluxe offer all those extras, including fabulous locations! Be sure to check out the Special Offers page to see if there are any deals for your dates.

Next step is to decide park tickets. How many theme park days do you want? Do you want to visit water parks? Another thing to consider is dining. Will you eat mostly at quick service or full service restaurants? Perhaps one of the Disney Dining Plans will meet your needs and save you money.

We have limited space to answer, so please write back with any other questions so I can help you plan the most magical vacation for you and your daughter, Chavon!
