    Single mom of 6, looking for the best time of the year to travel on a budget? Any suggestions?

    Hi Vanessa!
    In my experience, the most affordable times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort is anytime that most schools are in session. If it is possible to go during those times I highly recommend it- not only are the prices better, but the crowds are also very low. One of the ways I keep an eye out for upcoming discounts is by reading the Disney Parks Blog. It is filled with great information. Another good source of budget-stretching information is on a website called mousesavers.com. There you can search for historic discounts, including the ever popular "free dining" offer. Also, keep your eye on the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website. It always displays the current offers.
