I am a single Mom of 5. What is the most economic plan including time of the year to take my kids to Disney. Their ages are 10,12,14,16 and 18. Is it better to get a suit or cabin at the campground? Do the meal packages really save? Thanks,

    Hi Cindy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There are plenty of times throughout the year that you can get a great deal on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. First, I would suggest checking out the current special offers and see if any of these dates might work for your family. If not, just keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about upcoming special offers.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort offers family suites that sleep up to six adults and offer two bathrooms. This would be a great option for your family to have room to spread out and be comfortable. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort sleep up to six adults and Disney's All Star Music Resort also offers family suites that can sleep six adults. Another option that may be more economical is to book two rooms in a Value Resort. You can always request adjoining rooms so that everyone is close by you.

As for the Disney Dining Plans, I do feel like it saves you money if your children like to eat. You can check out the approximate price per person on allears.net to help you with budgeting and if you keep checking for those special offers, you just might see one with free dining later in the year. I can't make any promises though!

I hope this gives you a place to start comparing prices and options. If you have any other questions, just let us know!

    Happy planning!
