    I am a single mom bringing my 2 boys ages 5 & 6 & helper 16 all for their 1st visit! My 6 yo has autism, planning on taking breaks to avoid overstim. Can you recommend any places within the parks which could breaks? We're also staying at CBR?

    How exciting to be planning a first trip to WDW, Thonya.  If your sons are like mine, they will become instant fans! To help with your planning, I do have some suggestions for places at the parks to take breaks.  There may still be some things happening, but they are more subtle.

    First, one great way to take a break is with Disney transportation. The monorail around the Magic Kingdom resorts or the monorail to Epcot (a longer ride) can be ridden over and over; you don't even need to get off the monorail. Similarly, the boat ride from the Magic Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge and/or Fort Wilderness. The International Gateway boat ride is another calm distraction (goes from Epcot to resorts to Disney's Hollywood Studios). 

    Magic Kingdom: WDW Railroad, Liberty Square Riverboat, PeopleMover, Tom Sawyer's Island, The Hall of Presidents waiting area, upstairs of Columbia Harbor House (especially at off times), & the area behind the Christmas Shoppe.

    Epcot: Living with the Land and parts of Innoventions, the boat ride across the lake, The American Adventure waiting area, park area behind the UK pavilion, Japanese Gardens, & Ellen's Universe of Energy,  .

    Disney's Hollywood Studios: One Man's Dream and a bench at Streets of America.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom: Conservation Station and its train ride, Dinosaur Trails, Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.
