Hi, I am a single foster parent of 2 kids (7 and 8) with special needs. I am going to have them for the summer and I would like to take them to Walt Disney World. Do you know how much could that cost me? Thanks!

Hi, Adriana!  The budget for Walt Disney World varies greatly, and the options are many!  You have a wide range of room types to choose from, and there are different types of passes.

You don't say how long you want to come, or how many theme parks you would like to visit, so it's hard to give you a rough budget.  In the summer, estimate about $150 per night for a value resort.  If you can wait until August, the prices drop to around $120 per night.

Theme park passes will cost about $89 per day for adults, and $83 for children.  You can add options to them, such as water park options or park hopping options, but the base tickets are the least expensive.  If you buy a multi-day pass, the cost per day decreases.

The only other component would be food.  Again, you'll find everything from a piece of fresh fruit to a multi-course meal.  If you do quick service, I'd estimate about $10 - $12 per person, per meal.

I hope this helps!  If you want to send me a note with more information, I'd be glad to help further!
