Hello, I am single dad to a wonderful Daughter and will be visiting the park for 5 days in July. Any advice you would give me would be greatly appreciated. The one dilemma I run into is family restroom accessibility. Staying at the Yacht Club.

    Hi Chad,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip!  I'm guessing you will have an amazing time with your daughter.  I have two boys and  have travelled to Disney several times alone with them, so I understand your concern about restrooms.  Rest assured that there are plenty of companion restrooms located throughout each of the theme parks.  (I'm quite sure that I've been in just about every one!)  These are labelled on park maps, which are readily available as you enter any of the theme parks.  As for ways to make your experience extra magical, I recommend making advanced dining reservations for any table service meals you are interested in (especially character meals), since the parks are crowded in the summer with kids enjoying their summer vacations.  Your resort is truly spectacular, and has, what I believe is the best pool on Disney Property, Stormalong Bay.  I suggest heading back to the Yacht Club in the afternoon when the sun is high, and the parks tend to be crowded for a swim.  The Yacht Club has a wonderful location, and is within walking distance (or a short boat ride away) from both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  If your daughter is up for a nighttime spectacular, you can enjoy dinner at one of the parks and then stay for either Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios or Illuminations at Epcot.

    Have a wonderful trip!
