    I am a single dad taking my 8 year old daughter to AOA around the 2nd week of Sept. 2013. I was doing a trial run at my reservations and it only allowed me to "book" a Mermaid standard room. Are there Lion King standard rooms available or only su

    Hi Brian! What an awesome trip for your daughter. She will always remember her special times with her dad at Walt Disney World.

    The Art of Animation is a great resort and Disney's newest. The only section that has standard rooms is the Little Mermaid section. All of the other rooms will be the new family suites. The Mermaid rooms are in buildings that are the furthest from the main pool and the lobby building which is home to the shop and food court but they will have a small pool right in their location too. It is still a super resort and fun but if you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask!
