I have a single booking for savi's workshop at 8:25am and Hollywood Studios doesn't open until 9. It's far from ideal, but it's the only appointment I could get, so will my girlfriend and I be able to enter the park early to attend?

I bet you are excited that you booked a reservation for Savi's Workshop-Handbuilt Lightsabers in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios! I had the opportunity to build a Lightsaber at Savi's Workshop with my son and his wife in November 2021, and I can tell you firsthand that it was amazing! It was a Star Wars religious experience!

Arriving at your Savi's Workshop reservation 10 to 15 minutes before your reserved time slot is recommended to check in and choose the style of Lightsaber you desire to build. Typically, Guests are let into Disney's Hollywood Studios before the official scheduled opening time. Also, currently, there are 30 minutes early entry for Walt Disney World Resort Guests, so Disney's Hollywood Studios may be open before the official opening time for those Guests. I recommend getting to Disney's Hollywood Studios at 8:00 am. You can also tell a Cast Member at Disney's Hollywood Studios Gate that you have an 8:25 am Savi's Workshop reservation to see if they allow you to enter before 9:00 am on that day (if you bring a printed copy of your Savi's Workshop reservation it may be beneficial to you). Remember you and your girlfriend will need a Theme Park Reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios on that particular day of your Savi's Workshop reservation. Your girlfriend can watch you construct your Lightsaber, and I recommend having her document your Lightsaber build with photos and videos.
