    In the Sinba parking lot, are there any electric car charging stations that can be used while visiting Downtown Disney, Anaheim, CA.

    It sounds like you’re planning a visit to Downtown Disney District soon, and I’m so excited for you to experience a piece of the magic once again! You’ve picked a great time to visit, with Downtown Disney District extending into Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure Park starting November 19! 

    I did some digging, and found that yes, there are electric car charging stations available in the Simba Parking Lot! Even though these charging stations aren’t listed on the Parking page, I recalled seeing them on my last visit, so I checked on Google Maps, and was able to locate 23 dual-plug ChargePoint Charging Stations, with a total of 46 parking spaces in the Simba Parking Lot. According to the PlugShare website, these stations feature J-1772 plugs. You can find them near row “G”. In order to use one of these ports, you’ll need to scan a ChargePoint card. Lastly, keep in mind that parking in the Simba Lot is complimentary through November 18, but will begin charging a daily parking rate of $10 per car on November 19. 

    If you’re planning a visit on a Friday or a weekend, I highly recommend making a dining reservation ahead of time. A reservation will give you priority access to the Simba Parking Lot, even when parking is temporarily paused. Here’s a list of the dining options that are currently available in Downtown Disney District, along with which restaurants are currently accepting reservations. 

    I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to stroll down Buena Vista Street, munching on a churro, while taking in the sights and sounds of my happy place! Please stop by with any additional questions you have as you prepare for your visit… we’re all EARs!
