I simply can't wait for my son to get "big" before we visit WDW. I'd like to plan a trip for his first birthday; which resort is most child-friendly? Do any of them have splash pools for little ones?

Hi, Erika! I know how you feel!  With our first child, we did wait until after his first birthday. Yet, with our other three, they were well-seasoned Disney travelers as infants.

All Walt Disney World resorts are child-friendly...they have to be! The Value Resorts are economical and whimsical in design, and the Moderate Resorts have recreation options and better dining. The Deluxe Resorts are the top of the line and boast fine and casual dining, wonderful amenities and the convenience of being close to the parks.  I have seen "splash zones" at many of the resorts, but as I think about it, it seems to be the Deluxe and Moderate Resorts mostly.

If you have more questions, you know where to find me.  I'd be happy to help! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
