Simple but important (to me!) question: Are there ample water fountains in the parks to use to refill our water bottles? I don't want to have to lug around 15 water bottles each day! Thanks!

Hi, Terri!   This is a great question.   Between the heat and all the walking, it is super important for everyone in your family to stay hydrated.   And, if you are like me, I am the one stuck carrying everything so I like to travel as light as possible!

What I usually do is bring along refillable sports bottles from home.   Before leaving for the parks each day, I fill the bottles with ice water from the food court.   Once in the parks and the bottles are empty, I go to a counter service restaurant and ask for a cup of ice water and refill my bottles.   You can certainly find plenty of water fountains, but the cups of water from the counter service restaurants are free and COLD!

Along with your water bottles, make sure to pack sunscreen, camera, autograph book, wet wipes, rain ponchos, and hats or visors.      Have fun on your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
