I would just like a simple answer to a simple question. How much is a ticket to the Magic Kingdom for my 5 year old grandson? One day, one park, not a Florida resident. Thank you.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bob!

I'll be happy to assist you with your question.  However, the answer is not quite as simple as you might like it to be.  Walt Disney World Resort has implemented a date-based ticket system, in which the cost of tickets fluctuates.  For example, tickets during busier times of the year such as spring break or the holiday season will be priced higher than a date in early February.

To find out what the cost will be for your visit, use the interactive ticket calendar for Standard Theme Park Tickets.  Begin by selecting the number of days you plan to visit (1) and the ticket type (1 Park Per Day), then scroll down to the calendar to select your date.  The sample prices on the calendar are for ages 10 and up.  When you scroll past the calendar to select the number of tickets you would like to purchase, you'll see the cost for ages 10 and up on the left and the cost for children ages 3 to 9 on the right.

Bob, if you are a Florida resident and will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your grandson, you are welcome to purchase a ticket for him using your proof of Florida residency to take advantage of any special offers.

If you have any questions about using My Disney Experience, FastPass+, or would like suggestions for activities your grandson might enjoy, please visit the Moms Panel again anytime.  We are always happy to help.
