Ahoy there, matey! Thanks for braving the pirate-infested waters and making your way to planDisney with your question. Linda, I'm glad you're here!
Linda, this question is close to my heart as my family is currently in the exact same situation. My immediate family and I have cruised with Disney Cruise Line before, but for our upcoming September voyage on the
Disney Dream, my father-in-law is joining us in his own stateroom. I confirmed with a Cast Member that I am not able to book Port Adventures for him at the same time I book ours even though our reservations are connected through the
Family & Friends list. Because the
cancellation policy for Port Adventures allows for cancellation without penalty up to 3 days before departure, my plan is to secure our excursion and then cancel if my father-in-law is unable to book the same adventure.
Linda, while likely not the information you were wishing to hear, I do hope that you find it helpful as you're thinking about how to spend your time in port and how to accommodate your entire traveling party. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to point your compass in the direction of planDisney and come on back!
