Ahoy, Sophie! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy that you thought to cruise our way with your question as you consider booking one of the new itineraries for 2023 on the Disney Dream. I was just looking at that cruise to Spain and it looks lovely!
The
Disney Dream is a beautiful ship, and I'm so excited that she'll be sailing to Europe next year. The Disney Dream boasts the thrilling AquaDuck, the fun and interactive Midship Detective Agency, and the adult-exclusive dining venue, Remy. There is a lot to look forward to!
As you will be sailing with 19-year-olds, they will be allowed access to the adult-exclusive areas of the ship. Regarding their alcohol consumption, The Disney Cruise Line follows an
alcohol policy and will only serve those 21 and older with proper ID. However, during roundtrip cruises leaving from European countries that have a lower drinking age, parents/guardians can sign a Beverage Consent Form that allows their kids ages 18 to 20 to drink alcoholic beverages while together, in the presence of their parents.
I hope that clears up your question and that you'll soon be booked and counting down the days on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to your getaway at sea. Please sail our way again if you have any future questions. My pals and I are very happy to help!
Happy planning,
Adrianna
