We’re silver castaway club members, but we’re sailing with first time cruisers. Can we check in together when the silver check in window opens? Or will they need to check in separately the next day?

    Hi, Penny!

Welcome back to Disney Cruise Line! Since you are a Silver Castaway Club Member you have sailed with Captain Mickey before, so you know all the fun and pixie dust that is waiting for you onboard! I am sure you have shared some of the excitement with your travel pals, but you have to experience it all to truly understand the magic of a Disney Cruise. Your pals must be so excited!

Each travel party will need to check in individually so they will need to wait until their window opens to complete their online check-in. I am hopeful that your port arrival times will be very similar so you will not have a problem arriving at the port together. Once checked in at the port, you will each receive a boarding group number. If your numbers differ, simply board together with the later number. The boarding group numbers get called within minutes of each other so you will be onboard in no time at all!

Once onboard your ship, turn your phone to "DCL - GUEST WiFi" so you can access the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. You will find the Onboard Chat Feature to be very convenient to keep in touch with your travel party. If you would like internet services for checking email, posting to social media, or using your phone apps that require service, you will be able to purchase Internet Packages through the app. Choose between daily access or length of cruise. Pricing will be available before you make your decision.

If you have not already, make sure you have your reservation linked with your travel companions. This will help to make sure you are seated together for your nightly rotational dining. Once linked, you will also be able to book onboard activities together as well as Port Adventures

Penny, your cruise is just around the corner so have fun as you begin to pack and make all your final arrangements. If you have any other questions prior to sailing, stop back to your pals here at planDisney. We want to make sure your cruise is smooth sailing!
