We are Silver Castaway Cay members and my in-laws are first-time cruisers. Can we all enter the ship together? Can we book all of our port adventures 90 days in advance?

    Ahoy Heidi!

We ARRRRR so happy to have you back onboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How awesome you are introducing your in-laws to cruising and setting such a high standard for them with Disney Cruise Line! They will hopefully be hooked for life after your Disney Dream sailing. Between the fun Halloween on the High Seas hijinks scheduled and having Castaway Cay as one of your ports of call, the X will mark the spot on what is sure to be a treasured family vacation!

I love that Disney Cruise Line has created the Castaway Club to reward frequent cruisers with extra perks like earlier advance booking window dates! As landlubbers who are about to become first time cruisers, your family members will be able to reserve their Port Adventures, spa treatments, and dining at Palo or Remy 75 days prior to setting sail once they are paid in full. Meanwhile, as Silver members of the Castaway Club, you can make your reservations 90 days in advance once paid in full. Captain Jack Sparrow’s compass is pointing you in the direction of making your reservations as soon as your booking window opens. Then your crew will need to choose the same selections when their advance booking window opens.

When the 75 day advance booking window opens for your in-laws, contact Disney Cruise Line to align their activities with your own. Most of the time, there are plenty of Port Adventures and reservations for dining and spa treatments still available, so no one will have to walk the plank and make any changes!

As for the dining details, if you’ve decided to dine at Palo or Remy (which I highly recommend), the best thing to do would be to request that your existing Palo/Remy reservations be modified to include your in-laws. Finally, be sure to have both cruise reservations linked for your pirate crew. This will make sure you all can be seated together in the rotational dining rooms!

Raise the Jolly Roger and send the Disney Parks Moms Panel more of your excellent questions as you prepare for your swashbuckling adventure at sea!
