Hi there, Heather. Welcome back to planDisney.
Let me tell you a story. When I was little, my dad wanted my New Year's Resolution (which I called a New Year's
Revolution at the time) to be to stop being silly. And while I made that resolution, I failed it miserably. So as an expert on silly things, I can tell you that not being able to see the character for your husband's account is
not silly. The character you choose represents you and the same is likely true for your husband. It's important! Well, to me at least. And I have a feeling the same is true for you as well!
In doing some research, it appears this has happened to some Guests before. Although rare, there are times when a character is removed and therefore no longer shows up. To rule this out, I would recommend confirming that his character shows up on
his account. However, the majority of the time that this happens, it's just a glitch that usually corrects itself in time. Furthermore, Guests cannot usually be removed from your
Family & Friends List if they have active plans so if this is the case, you likely wouldn't be able to remove him anyway. You may want to ask him to change his character temporarily and then change it back as a sort of reset. If that doesn't work, I would recommend waiting it out to see if the issue corrects itself. With technology, no matter how advanced, sometimes patience is key.
If it doesn't resolve itself, you are welcome to
call the My Disney Experience line at the resort and a Cast Member can look into it for you. In looking at a previous question you asked, there may be an issue with one of the profiles connected to your account. As such, a Cast Member at the resort may be the best person to speak to if it doesn't resolve itself in a reasonable amount of time.
Heather, have a great visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out.
Some people are worth melting for,
Matt
