Silly question...what are the best type of shoes to wear? Shoes that will dry quickly if wet or tennis shoes? What are the chances of getting wet shoes? Thanks

    Hi Ap!

You will see a wide variety of shoes at Walt Disney World.  I am a Floridian, so I wear flip flops everyday, even in the winter.  When I go to the parks, I wear my Crocs flip flops, which are SUPER comfortable.  You will see mostly flip flops and sneakers roaming around the parks, with the occasional heels for those daring fashionista's.  Your feet will get wet on Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom, other than that, they won't get wet on an attraction.  Florida weather can be unpredictable and chances of rain showers can cause wet feet.  This is another reason I wear my Crocs.  I don't have to worry about soggy socks or shoes that take some time to dry.  There is nothing worse than walking around in soaked shoes.

If you are purchasing new shoes for your upcoming Disney World vacation, I suggest breaking them in a couple weeks before.  Even the most comfortable shoes can be uncomfortable the first few days.

    Have a magical day!
