Hi moms! silly ? our flight arrives at 6:30am, we will be taking DME to the Contemporary. Will we be able to check in that early? What would you suggest for easy 1st day. We will have a 1st timer 9 year old with us. Thanks!

    Hi Jennie,

Unfortunately, even if you check-in that early your room may not be ready until 4pm.

The good news is you can start using the amenities of the resort as soon as you arrive.  The bell desk will hold all of your carry-on luggage and anything else you would like held for you.  Your regular luggage will arrive at your resort a few hours after you and will be delivered to your room once it is ready.

You may want to book a reservation for breakfast at the Contemporary's Chef Mickey's.  It would be a fun way to start off your WDW vacation with Mickey and his friends.  You may also choose to head over to the parks.  One of the theme parks will most likely have early extra magic hours.  This is the time when the theme parks are only open to guests staying at a WDW resort.  I would imagine, depending on what time of year you are visiting, that after you check-in, have a snack, and browse the shops, most of the theme parks will be open for you to enjoy.

If you want to spend time around the resort you can also relax around the pool, play in the water sprinklers, or check out the playground.

    Enjoy your trip
