Can you still get silhouettes done at the Magic Kingdom?

Hello, Jo Marie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so glad you’re hEAR and asking about my FAVORITE souvenir I’ve ever brought home!

I have two silhouettes from the same week of vacation in 2016, hanging proudly in my foyer. They are silhouettes of my children, made by Mr. Jim in Liberty Square, a man I will forever recommend for his patience, dexterity and amazing skill to capture the personality and likeness of my kids in a simple piece of black paper. These surprisingly affordable souvenirs are about $8 plus tax, with a matching oval frame for the same price. For about $16, you’ll get two silhouettes (one facing each direction) and the frame, signed by the artist (a special touch!). I asked the Cast Member at the register to wrap and ship them to my Resort Hotel for no extra fee, though I’ll admit I was sad I had to wait until they arrived at my Resort to be able to stare at them again. They still make me smile so much!

Be sure to stop at the Silhouette and Caricature cart in Liberty Square, right across from the delicious smells coming from Sleepy Hollow Tavern (treat yourself to a Nutella Waffle with Fresh Fruit after your artistic session. I say with weight that waiting for Mr. Jim to create your silhouettes would be well worth it; he’s amazing! If I can help you with anything else regarding your vacation, please let me know; I’d be glad to help! ~ Lindsey P.
