Is there still a silhouette portraits art cart in Magic Kingdom daily? We will be there in October. I have tried looking on the website as well as calling and all that shows up is the one in Disney Springs. I am dying to get my kids’ silhouettes cut at MK!

Hello Alicia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Silhouette Portraits cut at Walt Disney World Resort are classic souvenirs that have become synonymous for Magic Kingdom since we got ours done a few years ago.

As recently as last month (late August 2018), my family considered getting new silhouette portraits done when we passed by the cart in Liberty Square opposite Sleepy Hollow. While it has no set site page or scheduled hours such as with the Silhouette Portraits Kiosk at Disney Springs, this Silhouette Portrait cart has been the same one I have seen in Magic Kingdom for many years now (albeit it was traditionally located on Main Street, U.S.A.).

With the popularity of the silhouette portraits for so many families visiting Walt Disney World Resort, I would be surprised if it was removed or closed before your next visit. However, all kiosks and shop offerings are subject to change without notice at Walt Disney World Resort.

I recommend that you schedule to have your silhouette portraits done as far as planning your day in Magic Kingdom is concerned and if you cannot get them done (for whatever reason) use the planned time to discover a new classic Walt Disney World Resort souvenir.

Perhaps a ghostly visage of your family at Memento Mori is in order?

    Have a Magical Visit!
