Where can I get a Silhouette done in the parks? Years ago we had one done of my granddaughter off Main Street in the Magic Kingdom; however, now I can only find a location in Disney Springs.

Hi Craig! I just happened to be in the Magic Kingdom the week of Easter and my grandson begged to have his portrait done. Right next to that was the Silhouette cast member working on those. He was extremely talented and I was amazed at what he could do with scissors.

You can still find this opportunity in the Magic Kingdom. The little side street off of the Main Street is the first spot you can try. This can tend to be more crowded and popular. The second spot is in the Liberty Square area just after you cross the bridge and just outside of the Christmas shop.  The Silhouettes were being done starting around 9:30am the day I was there but this could change from day to day or week to week according to crowds. The portraits did not begin until around 11 that morning. Check with the cashier and see if you can prepay and return at a designated time versus standing and waiting if it is crowded. We were able to do that and it allowed us to visit a couple of attractions and then return for the appointment.

You might have seen this great article in the Disney Parks Blog about the silhouettes in Disney Springs. It is a great tradition to start or continue and yes you can still do it in the Magic Kingdom!
