Hi Melissa, welcome to planDisney!
Virginia is for Disney lovers and I hope you loved creating magical memories with your family on your recent Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm so glad your family invested in
Memory Maker for your trip. Memory Maker is my favorite souvenEAR because it includes unlimited downloads of images captured by Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout the resort. The only thing better might be an unlimited DOLE Whip package!
One Memory Maker purchase includes photos of up to 25 members of a person's
Family and Friends List, but those photos can only be downloaded without the watermark by the person to whom the Memory Maker purchase is linked. It sounds like the Memory Maker purchase is most likely linked to your sister-in-law's My Disney Experience account, which means she is the only person that can view and download unwatermarked photos from your vacation. There are two ways I've handled this exact situation in the past.
On my most Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Memory Maker was linked to my account and I uploaded all of my family's Disney PhotoPass images to a shared album on my phone each night. On a previous trip, a Memory Maker purchase was linked to my mother-in-law's account and she allowed me to log into her account to view and download the pictures from our trip. Have a discussion with your sister-in-law and figure out what works best for your family. Kindly note that Disney PhotoPass media expire 45 days after they were taken so that conversation should take place sooner rather than later.
I hope this information helps your precious family photos find their way to you, Melissa. I encourage you to have a "Silliest Face on a Disney Attraction" contest - the winner gets ice cream!
Plan magic; planDisney.
