    There are signs posted with Lightning pass wait times. Are the lightning passes available for purchase now?

    Thank you for visiting planDisney. I am thrilled to answer your magical question about Lightning Lane entrances.

    Dalee, you have a keen eye for detail. During my most recent visit to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, I also observed the new Lighting Lane entrance signs.

    It seems that we are quickly “gearing up” for the launch of Disney Genie, Disney Genie+, and Lightning Lane entrances! However, according to the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog, Disney Genie will be launching sometime this fall. We do not yet have exact dates to share with you, but it has not yet launched.

    Please rest assured that as soon as Disney Genie launches, the Disney Parks Blog will share the news. Additionally, you can review the Disney Genie website for updates.
