My significant other and I are taking a trip in December just us two. I think he's going to pop the question! What are some of the best romantic things to do as a couple in the parks?

    Hello Melissa!

Going with your love to the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays is in and of itself a wonderfully romantic thing to do!

When you want to stoke the flames of love while in the parks, I suggest the following:
    1. At the Magic Kingdom snuggle up Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid. It will be hard to resist the demand from Sebastian to "Kiss the Girl!"
    2. While at Epcot take a trip to Mexico and visit La Cava del Tequila. The combination of romantic lighting and a margarita will warm anyone's heart.
    3. Share a dinner at a "drive-in" theatre at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre at Disney's Hollywood Studios. A preview of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman gives you a great excuse to throw your arms around your sweetie.
    4. During the Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom, your hearts will soar along with a set of love birds during "Can You Feel the Love Tonight."

However, my favorite romantic idea is actually outside of the parks-  an evening horse-drawn carriage ride through Disney's Port Orleans Resort area!

I hope these ideas will help you have the most romantic trip imaginable at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
