I have signed up my two daughters for the runDisney races during the ToT 10 Miler weekend. My youngest daughter is 2 and I'm not sure she will understand exactly what she needs to do during her race. Are parents allowed on the track to assist? Thanks!

    Hi Alicia!

The Kids Races at race weekends are some of my favorite things to watch!  My boys have participated in them and they are always so proud of their race bibs, t-shirts, and medals.

Parental involvement is definitely encouraged for the little ones!  You can even pick her up and carry her some if she gets nervous.

The kids races are designed to introduce our little ones to the sport of running and also to make them feel like race weekend is for them too!  It is very laid back and kid-friendly.  The DJ playing music and "warming them up" is my favorite part.  There are hundreds of kids dancing around  and having fun on the grass!

Please let me know if you have any other questions as you get ready for your races!
