I signed up to do the Princess 5K in February. My family is coming with me. It would be hard for the kids (14 months & 7 yr) to get up early when I have to report to the race. Can my family ride the transportation later the me to see me finish the race

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sara!

If there is one thing I understand, it's working out the logistics of a runDisney race event with family in tow. Trying to coordinate everyone and run a race is tough work!

Your family will be able to take event transportation later than you to head to the finish line area. Just keep in mind there is a period of time in the morning when transportation will be on hold and then resume again.

Bus transportation hours for the Princess 5k are as follows:

    • 4:15am - 6:00am and 7:30am- 10:30am

I recommend making sure your family is on the bus by 5:45am to ensure they arrive in time to see your shining moment. Spectating opportunities for the 5k are very limited so they'll need some extra time finding a location to view you.

I hope you are excited, Sara! I also hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

    Have a magical race!
