I signed my kids up for Simba's clubhouse at AKL and my daughter is asking what kind of crafts they make, and what do they get to take home. She's concerned that it will be too "babyish" for her. She's 8 years old. Thanks!

    Hello Laura!

My kids really enjoyed Simba's Clubhouse at  Animal Kingdom Lodge.   The craft projects vary and change frequently, but my girls never complained that they were inappropriate for their age.  In general, the craft projects are created to appeal to the entire age group of the children allowed in the club.  Children from age 4 to 12 can attend.  One year, I remember that my girls made an African type mask that they could take home with them.  They were given materials, and could choose how simple or elaborate they wanted to make them.   There is always something to do in the clubhouse.  From video games, to boards games, to coloring and more, I am pretty confident your daughter will enjoy her time there!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Please write back to me if I can help answer any other trip planning questions.  I am happy to help.

Until then, I wish you a magical vacation!
