    Hi! I signed up for the glass slipper challenge for 2016---my dream race! I have never been to Disney and do not understand transportation issues. If we stay at Pop Centry, does that qualify as a "host hotel" so we will have transportation to

    Welcome to the wonderful world of runDisney, Missy! 

    I'm so excited to hear you are not only preparing for your first runDisney race event, but your first visit to Walt Disney World® Resort as well! I know you will find everything about your experience magical. 

    Disney's Pop Century Resort is a "host hotel" for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. What this means is there will be dedicated event transportation to all race activities, including the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. 

    When you check into your resort, ask the front desk where the race transportation is located, as it will be different from theme park transportation (the race buses are large motor coach busses). There will also be a sign on an easel in the lobby that will provide transportation information. Disney's Pop Century Resort is a great central location for runDisney race weekends. Also remember, this is a large resort that will be housing many princess runners, be sure to board the bus early on race mornings!
