We just signed up for our Fastpass+ adventures! My only question is where do we go for the Illuminations at Epcot and why is there even a Fastpass+ offered for it? I thought it was an open air event. Do we get special seating or standing? Thanks!

    Hi Leah!

I have tried out the new FastPass + system a few times and I really like it. I think that you are going to like the new FastPass + system as well! The FastPass + for Illuminations:Reflections of Earth will let you in to a special viewing area which normally is located between the two stores at the entrance to World Showcase. I have watched Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at this location many times and it really provides a great view. The main benefit is that you will not have to wait for a good viewing spot around the World Showcase Lagoon (typically you would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes to secure a prime view spot for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth).  Keep in mind that you typically can find a prime spot for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth around the World Showcase Lagoon only 30 minutes ahead of time without using one of your FastPass + options.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
