    Signature restaurants offer some wonderful but unusual foods. My wife has been disappointed in most of them. Is the key relying on the server's suggestions? These restaurants are so highly regarded that we must be doing something wrong. Any suggestions?

    Hi Bill,

    I think taking the server's suggestions are very helpful.  They know about the food, the chef, the kitchen so they have a great perspective.  They are on the front line working with guests and knowing what is popular or a guest favourite.

    I am not very adventurous with food...so I usually stick with certain foods I like.  You can always ask if it is possible to have sauces on the side, etc.
