Hi Kathleen and welcome back to planDisney!
Walt Disney World during the holiday season is my favorite time to visit! I see that you will be planning a vacation for late December, so I just know you'll have a magical time. There is nothing better than walking down Main Street U.S.A. under the festive garland and wreaths with Cinderella Castle in the background.
It sounds like you're just
getting started with planning for your Walt Disney World vacation. You can book your travel through the Walt Disney World website or by
calling Walt Disney World reservations to speak to a friendly Cast Member who can walk you through each step and get you all taken care of. To
book online, plug in the dates for when you would like to visit. You can filter by price, location and category. All of the available Disney Resort hotels will populate and you can take a look at where you would like to stay. Once you have selected a Disney Resort hotel, you can add park tickets to make it a vacation package or you can choose to
purchase park tickets separately. Once you have booked your Disney Resort hotel and secured your park tickets, you can then make your airline travel arrangements!
Do you need a little guidance with choosing a Disney Resort hotel? If you would like the convenience of the
Disney Skyliner,
Disney's Pop Century Resort is one of my favorites in the
Value Resort category. You can easily walk to the Disney Skyliner and take it to
Disney's Hollywood Studios or
EPCOT. All other theme parks can be reached by the
Disney Bus Service.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my favorite that is on the
monorail loop, which has easy access to
Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT.
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
