I want to sign my son up to do the Pirates League on a day of the mnsshp and need to make reaservations yet. Should I go for an early morning time or wait til later in the afternoon? Planning it for a tues in late September. Hopefully we get the right day!

Argh Matey Bobbi Jo and thanks for the swashbuckling question.

A high-seas makeover at The Pirate's League is a great way to prepare for the festivities of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and because of that, reservations will book up quickly.  Dates for the party should be announced any day now, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements! I would recommend trying for an appointment around 4:30 because which will ensure your little pirate will be decked out in his glory for the special evening's events.

Pirates League sessions last around 45 minutes to an hour and with an appointment ending around 5pm, you'll be all set and ready for dinner before the MNSSHP crowds enter the park.  Last year, my family enjoyed a fabulous family-syle dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern just as the MNSSHP festivities were about to begin and upon exiting the building, we found ourselves in the perfect location from which to view the "Boo to You" Parade!

**Just be sure to head back to the entrance to obtain your MNSSHP wristband prior to 7pm.
