Bright Suns, Deborah!
So you are planning to make the jump to lightspeed and travel to Batuu at
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge...brilliant idea! I'm thrilled to hear that you are making reservations for Savi’s Workshop-Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Black Spire Outpost. I don’t have to have Jedi powers to know that my teenager is going to want to try this experience, too!
Here’s how you can make reservations for Savi’s Workshop-Handbuilt Lightsabers. Using
this link, when you click on the calendar for the workshop, it will ask you to select a date range. Once you do that, you will then choose a time of day: morning, afternoon or evening. Then the website will show the available times for each day. When I did a search, I was able to find availability at various times of day and for every day the week of August 14th. However, the days with the least availability are August 16, 17, and 18. I hope this gives you “A New Hope” that you will be able to make a reservation to build a custom lightsaber.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has so much to see and do. From drinking blue milk from the Milk Stand to piloting the
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, you may forget that there are other areas to explore in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Here’s a planDisney tip: there are secrets throughout the Black Spire Outpost that can be unearthed using the
Play Disney Parks app, enabling you to take on jobs, interact with droids, and even translate various languages from across the galaxy. For more tips and tricks, check out this planDisney
Panel Guide to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
Deborah, with a Walt Disney World vacation in a few days, it will feel like it’s here faster than the Millennium Falcon! But if you think of anything else, please blast back to planDisney.
May the Force be with you!
