Welcome to planDisney, Wendy!
Once you’ve completed your first runDisney race, you will be hooked for life. So, be warned! Eek! These one-of-a-kind races will change the way that you view the Disney Parks. If you already love spending time riding your favorite attractions and exploring the theme parks, runDisney’s rare character meet-and-greets, entertainment, and overall racing community will easily be among your favorite Disney memories.
My go-to way to see the line-up of runDisney races is to visit its official website. At the very top of the
runDisney website, the events, their dates, and the registration dates are posted. The 2023-2024 season just ended with the Springtime Surprise Weekend, and now it’s time to gear up for the 2024-2025 season!
The first race is the Virtual Series, which at the time of me answering your question has one race still available. Although you don’t participate in this race in person, you still get goodies like medals. (Side note: How cute is this year’s Virtual Series theme? Give me all of the Disney snacks!)
Some of the following in-person runDisney races are already sold out; however, the next race to open registration is the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. General registration opens on July 30, 2024. Know which event(s) (like the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or Challenge) that you’d like to participate in by the morning of registration. The spots go quickly, so have your method of payment and other information ready to go.
AN EXTRA GEM: I definitely recommend that you watch the
planDisney Podcast episode that is all about runDisney! In this video, my pals Melissa and Betsy share their tips and tricks and personal stories with you. I’m telling you, once you do one race, you’ll be back for more.
Wendy,
revisit us here at planDisney if you have additional questions. We’d rather you ask us for our tips and advice than to run around in circles. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
