I want to sign up for EE as my first Disney run event. Arriving at 0930 5/3 at MCO. Want to take a taxi to packet pick up and try to meet my family back at GF. How long would all of that take? Any idea and does it seem reasonable? Thanks so much!

    Hi, Christin!

Congratulations on making the decision to participate in your first runDisney event. In my opinion, the Expedition Everest Challenge is an excellent choice for your first race.

When considering the amount of time you will need to get to packet pick-up and then back to the Grand Floridian, I believe your 9:30am flight time is reasonable. Of course flight delays and traffic issues could set you back, so please keep in mind packet pick-up hours for Saturday, May 3rd, are 9:00am-3:00pm. Provided your flight is on-time into Orlando International Airport (MCO), you should have no trouble meeting up with your family at the Grand Floridian by early afternoon.

Please let me know if you have any further question regarding the Expedition Everest Challenge or any of the runDisney race events.

Enjoy running on the wild side!
