Aloha, Gabe! E komo mai and mahalo for visiting us at planDisney with your question. I am sure you’re very excited for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Gabe, I am happy to help you with information about
Disability Access Service (DAS), which is aimed towards supporting Guests who may have difficulty standing in queues for extended periods of time. I see you are arriving March 5, which means hopefully you can take advantage of the
pre-registration feature through DAS Advance, which must be completed more than two days before your arrival.
To start the DAS Advance process, click
here and scroll down to the "Request Live Chat" button. The Guest requesting DAS must be present on the video call. If you are eligible for DAS, the Cast Member will help with completing registration, and guess what – you’ll be able to request two attractions per day of your visit, ahead of time! Once you’re at
Disneyland Resort, you will be able to schedule return times either using the
Disneyland mobile app or in person at a Guest Services location.
I like to recommend thinking about the kinds of activities you might enjoy while waiting for your return times. There are so many places to sit, relax and enjoy what I call the triple S magic - sights, sounds, and snacks! One of my favorite places to rest my feet is on a park bench along Main Street, U.S.A., where hopefully I’ll catch a performance by the
Dapper Dans while enjoying my popcorn and churro.
I also want to mention you can use
Disney Genie+ service coupled with DAS, which a friend of mine did recently and said it was helpful to have both. With Disney Genie+ you have access to
Lightning Lanes for most major attractions, which is like scheduling return times through DAS. Using both Disney Genie+ and DAS, you can experience more magic in the same amount of time during your day. Currently Disney Genie+ service is $20/day per ticket, prices subject to change.
Gabe, I wish you the most magical vacation to Disneyland Resort and hope you will come back to see us if you have any more questions!
Mahalo nui loa,
Kamini
