Hiya Theresa!
Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad to see you here with your question for us.
The first time my family used the
Disability Access Service (DAS) was when I realized that Walt Disney World Resort is truly for everyone. As you know, this service accommodates Guests who have a difficult time waiting in a conventional queue due to a disability by providing them a return time for the given attraction.
I’m happy to tell you there have been recent updates to the service, and now, Guests are welcome to pre-register for DAS virtually prior to arrival! Guests can pre-register via live video chat between 2 and 30 days before a park visit. If you would instead register in person at the parks, you are welcome to do so at any of the
Guest Relations locations in every park. Once registered, DAS can be valid for up to 60 days.
You’re welcome to pre-register once you have your theme park tickets and have made your
theme park reservations. However, since wait times may vary, I recommend you set aside some time to meet virtually with a friendly Cast Member. Once you are ready to pre-register,
click on this link and scroll down until you see Request Live Video Chat, and select it. Once a Cast Member is available to chat with you, you will receive a notification.
Did you know that during the advance registration, Guests can book up to 2 one-hour return windows for select experiences? You will be able to make additional DAS selections on the day of your visit, as well. Please be sure to have the
My Disney Experience Mobile app downloaded on your device. Guests can make DAS selections once they have registered and entered a theme park.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Theresa! Have an enchanting visit.
Aena
