Hiya, Vince! Oh my goodness, you are less than a month away from your practically perfect vacation to
Walt Disney World! This is where it gets exciting. All of the planning is done,
theme park reservations are made (you did remember to make those, I hope!), Mickey ice cream bars are being dreamed of - you're almost there.
Disney's
Disability Access Service - or DAS - is designed to accommodate guests who have difficulty waiting in traditional queues for extended periods of time due to a disability. There is an option to
pre-register for DAS via an online video chat with a Cast Member. You can do this beginning 30 days prior to your arrival up to two days before you arrive. After that two-day window, you can register in person at Guest Services.
If you're ready to do it online, Vince, you'll scroll all the way to the bottom of the
registration page, and you'll see a button that says "Request Live Video Chat." Before you hit that button, make sure you already have a
My Disney Experience account, your upcoming reservations (including your theme park reservations)
are linked, and if you are traveling with other people, make sure they appear in your
family and friends list.
You'll be able to make up to two return windows for
select attractions each day you plan to visit the theme parks. Vince, this works awesome in conjunction with
Disney Genie+ Service, if that's an option you may want to explore.
Good luck, Vince, with the last few pieces of your vacation puzzle. I hope you have the most magical, memorable time!
Anna
