want to sighn in midnight madness

    Hi John!

Welcome to planDisney.  I think you're asking about registering for one of the incredible Moonlight Magic events, open exclusively to eligible Disney Vacation Club Members.  Like you, I was so excited to see that this Membership Magic Extra would be returning for 2022 and I'm happy to share a few details about the registration process with you!

On various nights throughout the year, Walt Disney World theme parks will open their doors for after-hours events exclusively for DVC Members during Moonlight Magic.  These events are completely free to eligible Members and offer shorter-than-normal wait times, complimentary treats, character sightings, and more –– talk about an awesome benefit, right?!  Members staying at any Disney Resort hotel may bring all Guests registered to their room to these events, while all other Members are welcome to bring themselves and up to four guests along for the fun.  If you're lucky enough to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during one of these magical events, you definitely won't want to miss it!

Because of the excitement surrounding Moonlight Magic, space is limited and you'll need to preregister to attend. DVC Members with Disney Resort hotel reservations during the EPCOT Moonlight Magic events received a link to begin early registration on February 23, 2022, which is now closed –– registration is available to all other Members (for the EPCOT dates only), beginning on March 8.  To register on that day, you'll need to have your Member number handy as you visit the Moonlight Magic page on the Disney Vacation Club website and select "RSVP Online" to enter the virtual waiting room.  If space is still available, you'll be taken to a screen to complete the registration process once it's your turn (just be sure not to refresh your screen so you don't lose your place in line).  And don't worry –– registration dates have not been announced for this year's other Moonlight Magic events yet, so be sure to keep checking the Disney Vacation Club website for all the latest news if you're hoping to attend one of those.

To enter a Moonlight Magic event, you'll also need access to your new Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card, so don't forget to download it prior to your arrival.  You can do this from the My Disney Experience mobile app by creating a new Disney MagicMobile pass, which will act as your new card and be saved directly to your smartphone's mobile wallet.  Not only will this give you entry to the event, but you'll have access to all your Member Benefits right at your fingertips during your Walt Disney World Resort visit.  It's easy and convenient, just the way DVC Membership should be!

Thanks for visiting planDisney, John.  Please stop by again if you have any more questions and I'm wishing you lots of luck as you register for an upcoming Moonlight Magic event!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
