Hi there, Alicia, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you've stopped by with this great question about your upcoming visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! My Panelist pals and I are here and always thrilled to help our fellow Guests, just like you!
Alicia, I had this same question before a recent visit to Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We rented a double stroller and planned to use the
Disney Skyliner between Disney's Beach Club Resort and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. We asked why we'd need to fold the stroller to board the Skyliner, and the Cast Member said that the double stroller simply won't fit between the seats. We opted to ride the boat at that point because my daughter was asleep and we didn't want to disturb her. While the boat journey was a bit slower than the Skyliner, it gave us a chance to rest and enjoy the scenic route.
Other places you need to collapse your stroller include
buses and parking lot trams. You'll find convenient stroller parking outside of most attractions, and I recommend tying a colorful bandana or glow sticks to your handlebars to help you quickly locate it in the sea of strollers that all look alike. I also like to have a large foldable bag handy in case we ever do want to fold the stroller, so we can quickly throw everything that has accumulated in the bottom basket into the bag for easy transport.
Alicia, I hope this is helpful to you as you count down to your holiday! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
