Hi Louise, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m currently sipping a peppermint mocha, playing Christmas music, and getting so excited for my holiday visit to Walt Disney World - and I know you are too!
The decision about whether your double pushchair (or stroller, as we call them here in the United States) will be allowed into the Holiday Wishes Fireworks Holiday Dessert Party really depends on the number of people at the party on the night you attend. I checked in with a Cast Member, who advised that, while the Cast Members want to make your experience as easy and magical as possible, it is possible that you will be required to park the stroller before entering either the party area of the viewing area, for either the
Tomorrowland Terrace or the
Plaza Garden Viewing party; this is for safety reasons. He also noted that if the party is quite busy, your little ones may have trouble fully seeing the fireworks from a parked stroller, depending on where you are parked or if people in front of you are standing.
This Cast Member gave me some great advice for selecting a dessert party. His opinion is that the Plaza Garden Viewing area can feel more cramped than Tomorrowland Terrace, but that the views are slightly better from the Plaza Garden area.
I hope you and your little ones have so much festive fun at the Holiday Wishes Holiday Dessert Party, Louise! When I watched the fireworks show last year, I had happy tears streaming down my face as the Christmas music filled the air, timed perfectly with the projections and colorful fireworks. It filled me with so much holiday joy, and I know you will love sharing that feeling with your family.
Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
Robyn
