I have been very sick & was diagnosed with Celiac disease last month & was wondering the best way to let Disney know I have a special diet. We have the dining plan & have already made reservations before my diagnosis. Thanks, Rachel Merkley

    Hi Rachel,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so sorry to hear that you have been ill and I'm happy that you now have a diagnosis to help you move forward. As the mom to a little guy with food allergies, I know how challenging it can be to accommodate special diets, especially when you are on vacation and away from home. In our experience, the Walt Disney World Resort Chefs and Cast Members have always done a great job at taking care of my little one and accommodating his special diet during our trips to visit Mickey.

I'm glad you are planning on adding your special diet to your dining reservation. Since your dining reservations have already been made, you will need to call the dining team at (407) 939-1947 to add your dietary restrictions to your reservations. The Cast Member you reach will be able to add your special diet to each of your reservations for your entire vacation. I recommend that you also let your server know about your dietary restrictions when you are seated at each table service meal. You will be able to speak to the Chef to help you order.

Be sure to take advantage of allergy-friendly menus at both table service and quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort as they are so helpful in figuring out what you will be able to safely eat! Please let me know if you have any additional questions as you continue counting down sleeps until your magical vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
