Are there shuttles that go from the general parking lots to the parks?

    Hiya Chelsea!

I’m so glad you found us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m happy to help you with your trip to the Disneyland Resort. There are currently three parking options at the Disneyland Resort. The Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and Pixar Pals Parking Structure are basically one structure but they do have separate entrances. The Toy Story Parking Area has its own entrance and as you approach the Disneyland Resort, follow the signs to the current open parking options. Take a look at the map so you can see where they are in relation to the parks. The structures typically open 90 minutes before official opening hours for the parks. I suggest taking a picture of the Disney Character closest to your car so you know exactly where to go at the end of the night.

The Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and Pixar Pals Parking Structure offer a complimentary tram ride over to both Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure Park. The trams are busiest during opening and right after the fireworks show or World of Color. Honestly my family has not used the trams in at least over 5 years. It’s an easy walk through Downtown Disney and if you have a stroller with you then you won't have to fold it up. You can just push the stroller right to the parks. So unless someone in your group has a disability and needs the tram ride, my recommendation is to walk with or without a stroller. The Toy Story Parking Area is a bit further and they actually bus you in from the parking area. The bus ride is also complimentary. If you park there I recommend taking the bus and not walking.

Well Chelsea, I wish you nothing but the best on your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any more questions you know where to find us!

Remember, always believe in the magic!
