Hi there Laura, I'd like to wish you a very warm welcome to planDisney!
From one Canadian to another, there really is nothing better than planning and dreaming about an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation while there's still a chill in the air. You can feel the joy emanating from so many fellow Canucks stepping into the Floridian sunlight as they wake up at their Resort Hotels and head out to the Theme Parks each day.
You'll be happy to hear that the
Walt Disney World Bus Service is complimentary and one of the wonderful
benefits of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. In fact,
Resort Transportation continues to be accessible and complimentary
even for guests who may be staying off property, as a way for them to have the opportunity to enjoy the dining and recreation offerings and inspire them to return for a future stay!
As for bus service between Theme Parks, you might be delighted to know that on my most recent visits over the past few months these have been available from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park after 1 p.m. EST each afternoon,
perfectly suited for Park Hoppers! There were dedicated gates listed for
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios located at the furthest distance from the Park Entrance compared to the other bus gates, so prepare for an extra trek!
Bear in mind that offerings and availability may be subject to change without prior notice, and that park-to-park buses may sometimes take longer to arrive and therefore result in longer lines. One of my
Princely Picks, Tips and Tricks involves taking a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to
Disney's Contemporary Resort and walking over to the Magic Kingdom Park entrance; this was a strategy that I learned from a friendly Guest Relations Cast Member and drivers from the Transportation team that has now become a very useful way to make the most of my day!
I hope that this was a helpful bit of expedition planning - feel free to come back to planDisney any time you'd like to
ask me about more tips and strategies for your next Disney destination.
Your adventure is out there!
Prince
