I bet you are starting to get your packing list ready for your trip! With the calendar turning over to April, you have just one more month to get through before you are wearing Minnie ears at the
Magic Kingdom!
First, we have to get you from the airport to your welcome home greeting once you are wheels down at Orlando International Airport! You asked about shuttle services, and I think you might be referring to the old magical express shuttles. They are no longer in operation. Funny story, on the last day of our vacation when we were ready to be picked up by that shuttle, we always called it the tragical express! We really didn’t look forward to that final ride back to the airport!
There are shuttle services now available that you can book and pay for in advance on their website that are safe and reliable, and we have used them often to get us to the magic! You can find these services with a quick internet search. These shuttles do usually make multiple stops at
Disney Resort hotels, so it may take a bit longer to reach your destination if your resort is one of the last drop off points.
Ride share services are also easy and convenient, and they would take you directly to your resort. The ride share pick up spot at the airport is easy to locate and it's a quick process to get from baggage claim to your ride share. The cost will probably be a bit higher than the shuttle, but the direct door to door service might be worth the time it saves you.
You could also sprinkle some pixie dust on your ride to the magic from the airport with the new
Minnie Van airport service that is available for Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort hotels and Club Level rooms. You can book Minnie Van airport service beginning 60 days in advance of your visit, up until two days before your visit!
