Welcome aboard, Edmilson!
Thanks for reaching out to planDisney for details of ground transportation with your upcoming
Disney Cruise Line vacation. There’s nothing like a Disney cruise and adding a
Walt Disney World Resort stay before or after you sail is a truly special escape. I’m happy to share what to expect with this personalized transportation option to and from Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral, Florida.
This ground transportation is not a shuttle in the traditional sense, with a routine schedule and a hop-on, hop-off option. You must reserve this transportation (one way, or round trip) through Disney Cruise Line, associated with your Disney Cruise Line stateroom reservation. You may do this by contacting your travel agent in Brazil or
connecting with Disney directly. Please know there is a per-person fee for this service which will be added to your reservation or can be paid in full separately.
Since this transportation is designed for the Guests who have purchased it, the final schedule is confirmed just before embarkation day. You will receive an email 48 hours prior to departure with instructions for luggage transfers and timing of both luggage pickup and motorcoach departure time and location. Similarly, if you purchase a transfer from Port Canaveral to Walt Disney World after the cruise, information will become available to you while on the cruise. Details of the disembarkation process will be shared, including timing and access to the motorcoach after clearing U.S. Customs at the port terminal.
I hope this helps you know what to expect, and has you excited for a seamless transition between your land and sea vacations! My family enjoys the convenience of Disney Cruise Line ground transportation; we can leave the driving, details, and logistics up to Disney while we easily slip into vacation mode!
Please let us know what other questions you have as you finalize this special trip. Did you know our team also answers questions in Portuguese? Please
